Who is Brandon D. Campbell?
Brandon D. Campbell is an award-winning entrepreneur, author, mentor, and community builder whose work sits at the intersection of culture, creativity, and economic empowerment. With over 20 years of business ownership and leadership experience, he has built a career defined by impact, inclusion, innovation, and inspiration.
Born and raised in Little Rock by a single mother with four other siblings, Brandon has experienced life growing up in a blended family environment. In total, Brandon has seven siblings (his older brother was murdered before he got the opportunity to meet him). Living in Little Rock in the 90s was tough, but Brandon graduated from Little Rock Central High School and later earned a BA in journalism and mass communication from the University of Iowa. Today, as a man, he views his upbringing as a superpower and his father as his best friend and navigator.
His career started in the entertainment industry, bouncing around from one coast to the next. At 25 years of age, Brandon became a Hollywood producer at E! Entertainment and later wrote and produced for World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). Brandon transitioned from the entertainment industry to become one of the South’s most dynamic business and economic development leaders. He is best known as the founder of Little Rock Fashion Week (the state’s first), Plano Fashion Week, and Baton Rouge Fashion Week, which have launched the careers of emerging designers, models, and stylists while spotlighting Southern creativity on a national stage.
In economic development, Brandon led initiatives that brought high-speed broadband and tech training to underserved rural communities, including Selma, Alabama. In fact, he helped facilitate a $230 million broadband deployment partnership that is providing affordable and accessible internet in all neighborhoods in Alabama’s Black Belt, one of the poorest regions in the U.S. Also, he helped launch the first-ever tech bootcamp in Selma.
His business coaching and consulting efforts have helped secure over $15 million in capital for small businesses, nonprofits, and entrepreneurs from underrepresented backgrounds. Recently, he was a technical assistant provider for companies owned by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals through WinRock International’s SPARK.
Brandon co-founded Spark!, a pre-accelerator supporting BIPOC and women-owned businesses in Central Arkansas, curated by The Venture Center. In rural Michigan, he led a Women’s Business Center (WBC) to earn national recognition as the WBC of the Year by the U.S. Small Business Administration. He currently leads 4i Solutions, a consulting firm empowering enterprises and marginalized communities through innovation, inclusion, impact, and inspiration.
Beyond business, Brandon is the author of the upcoming children’s book “Oh Brother, My Brother” (released Feb. 2026) and the creator of Publessed, an apparel line and mindset movement celebrating Black creators who embrace faith, family, and purpose in their work.
His biggest accomplishments are as a husband and father of three daughters. Brandon’s mission is simple: to open doors to opportunities that help others see what’s possible, and if no door exists, build it to make sure no community or creator is left behind.
